Looking to maximise stunning views of Lake Taupo from their Kinloch section, the Farmers envisioned their perfect holiday home. To create the desired relaxed lifestyle they were after, the design called for a modern lodge-style building with low maintenance being key.
They chose aluminium exterior cladding in Silver Comet Satin and combined this with Eldorado Schist for a perfect combination. The large open plan living was created on the top floor to make the most of the views with sliding doors opening onto a long balcony.
Sliding aluminium louvres in Ironsand provide shelter for the rooms. This home features a knot free interior (clear pine) upgrade which has been blonded for an ultra-modern and sleek look.
The minimalistic look of the white kitchen cabinetry combined with European appliances and engineered white stone bench tops further enhances the integration of the kitchen with the living room. This space is great for family get-togethers and holiday entertaining.
